Works with your existing results workflow

Your athletes' marks still show up on athletic.net

The number one question from high school meet directors considering RecordBoard: “Will my results still go to athletic.net?”

Yes. One click after each event. RecordBoard generates the same file format athletic.net has accepted for years. Export each competition as it finishes and upload it the same way you always have — except you're doing it while the next event is still running, not 12 hours after the meet ends.

  • HyTek semi-colon delimited format — same file athletic.net has always accepted
  • Export per competition as each event wraps up, or export the full meet at once
  • Auto-push on finalization — results sync to athletic.net without any manual step
  • No re-entry, no intermediate software, no reformatting
  • Qualifying marks, rankings, and all-time lists all update on athletic.net as usual

Meet day, start to finish

From the first entry submission to results on athletic.net — the entire workflow runs in RecordBoard.

1

Coaches submit entries online

Send a meet invitation link and coaches enter their athletes from any device. No PDF forms, no email chains. Entries arrive clean and ready to seed — with your event limits enforced automatically.

2

Seed flights in minutes

The seeding wizard assigns athletes to flights automatically based on seed marks. Adjust, scratch, or re-seed with a tap. Print-ready heat sheets in one click.

3

Judges record from any phone

Field event judges open the app on any device — no download required. One tap per attempt: Make, Miss, Foul, Pass. Works offline when venue WiFi is spotty.

4

Results go live instantly

The moment a judge records a mark, it appears on the public scoreboard. Coaches, parents, and spectators follow along at a shared URL — no account needed.

5

Export to athletic.net in one click

Click Export on any competition results page. RecordBoard generates the file athletic.net expects. Upload it while the next event is still running — results appear the same day instead of the morning after.

RecordBoard vs athletic.net

They do different things. They work together.

Athletic.net is where the track community looks up results, rankings, and qualifying marks. RecordBoard is how you run the meet that produces those results. Not a replacement — a better way to get there.

Common questions

Does RecordBoard replace athletic.net?

No. RecordBoard is the meet-day operations tool — entries, seeding, judge recording, live results. Athletic.net is your results archive and ranking platform. They work together. You run the meet in RecordBoard, then export results to athletic.net the same way you always have — just faster.

Do my athletes' qualifying marks still show up on athletic.net?

Yes. RecordBoard exports a file in athletic.net's standard format — the same format they've accepted for years. Upload it through athletic.net's normal interface and your athletes' marks appear exactly as if you'd exported from Hy-Tek.

Can coaches still submit entries through athletic.net?

Yes. RecordBoard can import entry files from athletic.net and DirectAthletics, so coaches who use those platforms for entry submission don't need to change anything. You can also use RecordBoard's built-in entry portal — whichever workflow works for your meet.

What if some coaches use Hy-Tek?

RecordBoard exports results in HyTek-compatible format for TFRRS as well. Your existing reporting pipeline keeps working.

Do I need special hardware?

No. Judges use any phone or tablet — no app download required, just a browser. The scoreboard works on any screen at a URL. FinishLynx timing integration runs through a small desktop app on the timer's existing laptop.

What does RecordBoard cost?

Free for your first meet. Paid plans start from there depending on meet size and features. No credit card required to get started.
