Running meets is free

Not a trial, and not capped at one meet. Creating meets, entering athletes, seeding, judging field events, recording marks, finalizing results and publishing them are free on every plan, permanently. Nothing will ever stop you in the middle of a meet.

We charge for the equipment and integrations around the meet — the things you set up at a desk beforehand, not the things you need at four o'clock on a Saturday.

Common questions

Why is running a meet free?

Because a plan limit that fires while you are finishing an event is worse than no product at all. Meet day is the moment you need software to get out of the way, so nothing about running or finishing a meet is gated.

Is there a catch on the free plan?

No athlete cap, no meet cap, no watermark on your results pages, and no card required. The paid features are genuinely separate things — driving a scoreboard, streaming, exchanging files with a timing system, syncing results onward.

Do I need to install anything?

No. RecordBoard runs in a browser on any laptop, tablet or phone. There is no Windows requirement.
